Microsoft Software exposed the Netter

A controversial software were developed by Microsoft. Eventually, this software could guess gender, the age, even through to the name and the location someone. All that was carried out only from seeing any site that up til now was accessed by this person. Was like this the claim that emerged from Jian Hu, a researcher software in the Microsoft research laboratory in Beijing, China. According to Hu, the surfing habit in the internet had the correlation that was strong with the personal character of this person.

The analytical device, said Hu, could be used to connect various characters to guess the identity of the user of the internet.”A conjecture that was good could be concerning your identity carried out only by seeing the history browsing,” said Hu in the World Wide Web conference 2007 in Canada, as being quoted  from New Scientist, on Wednesday (23/5/2007).
The Microsoft team at this time developed the system cookie just to browser that could be used for this analysis. Moreover, the data could be also obtained from cache the page web that was kept in the computer or one proxy server.
At this time, results of the Hu research and his colleagues could just guess roughly the age and gender pengakses web. However this team was convinced in afterwards their day could guess accurately personal information like the work, the qualification, but also the location.
