If you want to manage by samba web manager, you can use swat. I use ubuntu 7.10 so it is simple just type :

#apt-get install swat

ubuntu will install automatically and ready to use with this address : http://localhost:901/

I’ll try to manage my samba into real File Server like Windows Server 2003.

The two organisations just – just this dismissed the pleasing news, that is the merger both of them became a new organisation that was given by the Linux Foundation name.
If not having the obstacle, then this merger will be declared in February this year.
In the meantime, Free Standards Groups was the organisation of the non profit that also since long before had become the supporter Linux at the same time the manufacturer standard – standard for the program open source.
The member Linux Foundation will consist of the company – the big company like the MOBILE PHONE, IBM, Oracle, Novell, and Red Hat.
Whereas the control of this organisation will be handed over to Jim Zemlin, former Executive Director from Free Standard Groups.

Linix will increasingly get the allocation to the world of the mobile phone.
Motorola made an announcement was developing all fitur advanced their telephone used Linux.
Motorola was the producer of the first mobile phone that took this step.
This transition will be carried out slowly, because of Motorola still planned to continue to make the telephone with OS Microsoft Windows Mobile and Symbian for the certain market target, like that was stated by Mark VandenBrink (Director Senior and the Main Architect the Software Motorola Mobile Device Unit).
VandenBrink said again that Motorola will make OS Linux the future from user interface and fitur – fitur their mobile phone.
Motorola the first time developed the based Linux mobile phone during 2000 for the Chinese market.
Motorola chose Linux because with the characteristics open source this OS, they could freely determined what was wanted by them from user interface and fitur –fitur they.
In this way they might not be waiting for Vendor OS like Microsoft to dismiss fitur just.
Apart from the profit open source, Motorola also hoped by raking in Linux they can compete with Nokia that was the heavy supporter OS Symbian.
